2) City and Kingston Transit call for artist Pop Ups during Culture Days 2017

KINGSTON, ONT./August 30, 2017– The City of Kingston and Kingston Transit want to connect arts, culture and people throughout the city during Culture Days 2017 and are seeking proposals from artists, creators, collectives and performers in all media to present Pop Ups on Kingston Transit buses and at stops/transfer points during Culture Days 2017. All proposals are to be submitted via email to tnorris@cityofkingston.ca.
The Culture Days Pop Ups will take place on transit busses and at transit stops and transfer points throughout Kingston. These PopUps aim to showcase the variety of arts and culture that take place in Kingston. Proposals should take into consideration that the Pop Ups will be presented in public spaces, are intended to showcase arts and culture across Kingston, and invite participation. Each Pop Up will be paired with a Culture Days volunteer to assist the artists/creators and to answer public inquiries.

Kingston-based emerging and established artists and creators are encouraged to submit a proposal via email to tnorris@cityofkingston.ca
